As someone who designs t-shirts as part of my job, I recently noticed that Amazon didn’t have a whole lot of Braille t-shirts on sale, so I went to work on making some braille t shirt designs. Let me know in the comments below or via my contact form if you’d like to see any other specific Braille t shirt designs – I can make them up for you and put them up on Amazon.com : )
Please note that the writing is not really raised – it’s just a normal t-shirt ink print that’s quite flat and not really palpable (unfortunately that’s the only technology I have available to me at the moment). But you can customize the shirts with some puffy paint or other techniques like a bedazzler to help make the writing more easy to read by touch.
Here are the designs I’ve put up on Amazon so far – you can click on the pictures below and it’ll take you straight to the product on Amazon:

Best Boyfriend Ever (left) & Best Girlfriend Ever (right) T-shirts in Braille
(I used to have a Best Wife & Husband one too but no-one bought it so Amazon took it off their site. If you’d like to buy one of those, let me know, I’ll try to get it re-posted on Amazon : ))
Best Mom Ever (left) and Best Dad Ever (right) t-shirts in Braile:
Wifey & Hubby cute nicknames in Braille shirts

If there are any other Braille-writing t-shirts you’d like to see, please do let me know in the comments below or via my contact form and I’ll try to whip up a t-shirt for you on Amazon!

Hi!
I would like to order some t-shirts in Braille. Can you make them with TPIR? We’re going to go on The Price Is Right with them. (2 women and 1 men’s t-shirts). Thanks!
Hi Sharon, yes I can make those for you! – just the letters TPIR in uncontracted Braille right? Like this: ⠞⠏⠊⠗ ? (I’m not sure why, but in the translator it spelled it with two dots before the text like this: ⠠⠠⠞⠏⠊⠗ – let me know which method you’d prefer – without the dots at the beginning or with them). Let me know what colors you’d like the shirts to be in too : )
(Please note the Braille dots will be flat and not really palpable)
The double cap indicator at the beginning means all the letters are capitolized.
ahh thanks Teresa! That explains it! I’m still at the very very early stages of learning the language
For the best Dad ever shirt, is it tactile or flat Braille characters? I’m thinking of ordering one for my husband for father’s day but am needing it legible by him. Thanks.
Hi Nicole, it’s flat – not tactile – unfortunately I don’t have the machines available to do a tactile print yet (I wish I did!). But you can modify the shirt yourself with a bedazzler or by adding fabric paint on top to make it more tactile – I know this isn’t for everyone but if you’re a creative arts and crafts kinda person anyway, it could be a fun way to add something extra personal to the shirt. Or you could even make one from scratch using a cheap blank t-shirt if you like : )
Hi I live in a building for the blind. Do you sell braille shirts by the case or is there a discount.
Looking for mixture of small medium large, 2x, 3x
Hi Anna,
Yes, I think I can work out a bulk discount for you. If you’d like me to design something specific let me know what text you’d like on the shirts – or better yet, if you could paste the exact Braille text you want, in Braille, in a comment here, that would be even better to help me get it just right : )
(Please note that the Braille dots on the shirt will be a normal t-shirt ink print that’s flat and not palpable)
