Mounts of Mars

Subject: Palmistry >> Palm Mounts >> Mount of Mars

On the hand there are four different areas relating to Mars energies:

  • Upper Mars (also sometimes called Negative Mars or Progressive Mars)
  • Lower Mars (also sometimes called Positive Mars or Regressive Mars)
  • Plain of Mars
  • The Mouse (on the back of the hand)

All these areas relate to Mars energies which got their name from the Greek god of war and his qualities of a “fighting spirit”, fiery spirit and courage in some way or another, but they all represent slightly different aspects of Mars energies.

Let’s have a look at all the separate Mars Mounts in a little more detail: Continue reading

What does the Mount of Venus Represent?

Detail from The Birth of the Roman Goddess of Love, Venus by Botticelli Poster Venus is the Goddess of Love so the Mount of Venus relates to Love in many ways: Characteristics that can be read from the Venus Mount include:

  • our warmth of character (e.g. how warm, loving, sympathetic and helpful we are to friends, family and loved ones), and by extrapolation we can extrapolate about the nature of relationships these people are likely to have,
  • how much love we need to be shown (which some palmists translate to a person’s degree of neediness),
  • how much love, passion and zest for life we have, and for the good things in life like fine food, drink, art, beauty and romance,

Palm Mounts: Parts of the Hand

If you look at your hand, palm-side up, you’ll notice you have some areas of skin that are more cushy, cushioned and fleshy than others. For example some of the “cushy” areas that are easiest to spot are those that are found under the fingers. If you look, you can see little raised circular-shaped mounds there. These areas of the palm are called the palm mounts. Continue reading

Small Hands or Big Hands: What does Hand Size mean in Palmistry? | Lesson 4

big hand with small hand inside it For anyone starting out with learning about Hand Reading or palmistry, one thing that’s easy to correctly identify and interpret right off the bat is hand size.

Before I go into what large hands mean and what small hands indicate, first of all let’s talk about how to be sure whether someone’s hand falls into the large or small category. At first thought it may sound obvious, but when you consider tall people naturally tend to have bigger hands than short people, and children have smaller hands than adults, it becomes clear that assessing and measuring hand size requires a bit more explanation. Hand & Palm Color meanings in Palmistry | Lesson 3

different hand and palm color colour in palmistry Poster pic picture For a beginner of hand reading, one of the easiest things to read is the hand color. We’re talking here of subtle tints of color that are unrelated to ethnicity, and these subtle tints of color can change from moment to moment. Having said that, some people may have tendencies for their skin to be one color hue more often than other hues, in which case the meaning of hand color is more meaningful to the big picture of a person’s character.

The best way to recognise different hand colors is to look at as many hands as you can because it is only when you see hands side by side that you really start noticing the subtle hue differences. For example a “yellow tinted” hand or a “white hand” can look pink if you look at it on its own, but side by side with a truly pink hand that doesn’t have a hint pale or yellow tint to it, only then do you notice the yellowness or whiteness of it. In particular, it can be helpful to practice looking at different color hues on individuals with different ethnic backgrounds to help you train your eye to recognise the tint beyond the underlying skin color.

Here is a quick guideline to what different tints and hues of the skin can indicate. Continue reading

Natural Fungal Skin Infection Treatment with antifungal essential oils

I wanted to write this article after I observed how my housemate successfully treated a fungal skin infection with antifungal essential oils. It was my first time seeing someone treat a fungal skin rash without the use of conventional antifungal creams and the experience was so eye-opening for me that I wanted to share it with you here as another possible method of treating fungal skin infections. Sebaceous cyst treatment – naturally, gently and without surgery

Today I wanted to write a post about a personal experience I had with successfully treating a sebaceous cyst. Before you read on, I should say that at the time of writing the sebaceous cyst is reduced to about 30-40% of it’s original size but is still there, so I can’t yet promise that what I’ve tried gets to 0% of the original size, but the methods I’ve used have helped me reach this much reduced cyst-size state.
